Founded in 1974 by Donald Powers and his son Wesley, the company (then called Colonial Traffic Service) provided seal coating and line painting services to the local community on a small scale. As the company grew, it expanded it’s offerings to include tennis court resurfacing and asphalt repairs. In 1984, the company was renamed Lancaster Asphalt Systems, Inc., and power sweeping and property maintenance were added to the company’s list of services.
Located in Lititz, Pennsylvania and serving Lancaster and surrounding counties, Lancaster Asphalt Systems, Inc. remains family-owned and operated.
